Our solution allows AWA’s products and combinations to be viewed in 360° with zoom functionality. Clients can configure product combinations independently, reducing errors and minimizing the need for AWA’s involvement, which lowers labor costs and enhances service efficiency. Additionally, a summary of the client’s selection is generated automatically, ready to be printed or sent to the appropriate AWA sales executive for follow-up.

What challenges did we face?

We had to manage hundreds of unique products and thousands of possible combinations, as the configurator allowed for up to four products to be combined. This required us to work through extensive Excel sheets with numerous columns and rows, process accurate STEP files, and collaborate closely with AWA’s web development agency to ensure seamless integration.

This required us to work through extensive Excel sheets with numerous columns and rows, process accurate STEP files, and collaborate closely with AWA’s web development agency to ensure seamless integration.

How did we manage the project timeline?

The project had a four-month deadline leading up to the Chillventa international trade show. While the schedule wasn’t rushed, summer holidays and AWA’s busy development agency meant we completed the project just in time—one week before the event.

How did we ensure successful delivery?

We followed an iterative process, starting with a rough draft to gather early feedback from Sebastian and his team. Each subsequent version improved significantly, leading to the final delivery. We maintained regular communication through MS TEAMS video calls and chats, while coordinating with the web agency via email.
